As a long-term client of Design Portfolio, The Book Review approached us again in 2012 to refurbish their existing store and create a ‘store-in-store’ area for their Children’s department.
The upgrade works included the adaptation of existing fixtures and gondolas to the new layout, along with re-finishing these in fresh, modern colours. This kept the cost down significantly and meant that more could be spent on high-impact features such as new flooring, new ceilings and shopfront works.
Graphics and branding were an integral part of the re-design, providing better in-store navigation, clearly defined departments and environmental graphics for overall ambience. The existing logo was retained but simplified for a more contemporary look.
“This is the second time we have used design portfolio to redesign our store. I have always been impressed with their creativity and professionalism and their attention to detail. We have had only positive feed back from all our customers. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed working with the team.” - Hedley Gordon, The Book Review.
