Hard Yakka

Client:  Hard Yakka is a division of Pacific Brands Ltd.  They design, manufacture and sell work wear and shoes.  Hard Yakka is a household brand name in Australia.

Project brief:  Design a new concept for Hard Yakka brand destination standalone stores, incorporating the various ranges of Hard Yakka work wear, shoes, as well as Stylecorp corporate uniforms.  Business needs analysis, conceptual space planning, interior design, signage and graphic design, visual merchandising standards, documentation and contract administration..

Project outcome:  The first Hard Yakka store has opened in Kotara, Newcastle.  It presents a unique brand experience designed to retain the existing trade customers, and to attract new retail customers that may choose the Hard Yakka gear for its fashion qualities.
